 The Vasciks with Governer Kaine Time passes quickly, and 1998 was our first estate harvest and vintage at Valhalla. Our first tastings were done in an outdoor tent then we moved into the winery production facility next. We've been enjoying the comfort and unbeatable view from the Cellar Door tasting room for 3 years now. How many of you remember when the winds tore through our tasting tent and brought it down? Or remember moving around all the equipment and fermentation tanks while sipping those early vintages? We are thrilled how wonderful a facility the Cellar Door is for all our visitors, including Governor Kaine, and its rave reviews for special events. Have you enjoyed sitting by our outdoor patio fireplace with a glass of wine? Have you seen the airplanes land below you or our raptors soar above you? Come join us this anniversary year and begin envisioning the next 10 years at Valhalla. If you've seen the antique Mill stones at our entrance way, those are the future. A new stone entrance way will be designed and constructed to greet you in the times ahead.
Harvests Ten harvests, ten different sets of growing conditions, ten different vintages--that's Virginia wine making! Each unique and wonderful. As you enjoy our wines learn about the specific attributes each of the vintages. This year library selections of many of our red wines will be released to our customers. It's an honor to share with each of you Valhalla's history, and gain your interest in the future vintages many of which are aging in oak barrels in our 200 foot wine cave. Come visit the future in our cave, and celebrate the past in our tasting room. Happenings  A great place for holiday partys! 2008 is our year to facilitate our customers. Changes in state laws have made our wines very hard to find for most of you. We are bringing our wines closer to your homes. Our staff will be at more local wine festivals this year and our web site ordering and UPS shipping saves you time, gas, and guess work for stocking your cellar. CB Distributing, Colin Brown our representative is busy providing our wines to where you shop. Just ask for your favorite Valhalla wine at Kroger's or a wine store... Colin can make sure they carry it for you. Visit your local ABC store and look at the selection of Valhalla wines they have. Let us know how we can help get our hand crafted wines to your glass.
