Valhalla Vineyards has been growing
grapes and producing award winning estate wines from a 2000 feet mountaintop overlooking Roanoke Virginia since 1998. Our 21 acre
vineyard produces world class cabernet sauvignon, syrah, merlot,
chardonnay, cab franc and more. Its decomposing granite soils and unique
climate (similar to Rhone Valley of France)
afford the premier terroir on the East Coast. |
Join us April through December on Fridays 4-7, Saturdays
12-5 and Sundays 1-5 (closed Friday
in Nov. & Dec) for
elegant tastings in the Cellar Door, with breath taking vistas, and picnicking
under our timber frame patio or on our sunlit mountain top deck. Tours of our winery and barrel cave are offered the 3rd Saturday of each month from 1-4PM.
Be sure to join us for Band Night! We will be featuring live music on the 2nd and 4th Friday night of every month between April & October. Doors open at 4pm, and the band plays from 5:30 to 7:30. Admission is free. And don't miss Dancing Under the Stars, the 1st and 3rd Fridays from May through October. |
